Thoughts on Collaboration

People CollaboratingToday’s fast paced society delivers people the freedom and resources to consume massive amounts of information. The sheer number of people who are “plugged in” is mind boggling. Personally, I find the idea of a collective conscious most intriguing. But, just as important as online social networking is, it’s best to know, work, and network with “real” people in your industry.

CrazyWebFoo Design's Redesign

Site Design & Templates

Web designers have several options available when designing a new site. Someone who specializes in design may want to create the site from scratch. Alternatively, someone who specializes in programming may want to start with a template or design created by an artist. I like to think of web design as the marriage between creative design and web programming. Today’s web designers must know and understand the core concepts for both of these specialties in order to reap the rewards of a stellar site!

Fun with Interactive Mockups

Interactive mockups are a quick, easy way to show potential clients a prototype of their new site.  As a web designer I enjoy the flexibility of being able to create a quick rendering for a client.  This in turn gives them something tangible to visualize and will usually get their “creative juices” flowing.
